More About Blogging for Activists

When you set up a blog you can decide whether or not to list it in a directory of blogs. But even if you don't list your blog, Internet users can read it if they know the URL. So if you want to limit who can read your blog, you need to find out if your web site can be password protected. Read more about this in the Help files on the Blogger.com web site Blogger's web site.

Blogging for Activists

Activists and nonprofit organizations can make effective use of weblogs in conjunction with other Internet tools. For example, to post quick comments about news that would be of interest to an organization's staff or membership, pointers to other relevant information on the Web, or as a forum for members to express their views or ask questions. Nonprofit groups could also use weblogs as a forum for staff and/or board communication on items of general interest.
